 Warren Johnson wins the 12th Annual Pontiac Pro Stock Super Bowl

 

February 9, 2004 - Warren Johnson piloted the HPC associate sponsored GM Performance Pontiac Grand Am to a 6.745 @ 205.10 run defeating Mark Pawuk to win the 12th Annual Pontiac Pro Stock Super Bowl.

With just one run down the track, WJ clinched the number one qualifying spot with a 6.681 @ 205.76. WJ also owned four of the five quickest runs of the event.

Warren Johnson holds the current track ET record of 6.720 seconds and his son, Kurt, holds the track mile-per-hour record at 205.57.

HPC's services to the Johnson team include thermal barrier coatings, solid dry film lubricant coatings, and HiPerCoat header coatings.
