As you know I made the investment to purchase a top quality exhaust system for my truck, Banks engineering builds a superb product. My interest in your product was to preserve my investment and keep it looking as good as I could with the added benefit of heat retention. However after installing the exhaust system with the coating applied to the headers and cross over pipe I found the heat retention of the coating to be amazing! I was in the process of checking the header bolts after I had run the truck for a few days. The truck had been running for several minuets and I was able to rest my hands on the header pipes without any problem. However when I touched the EGR tube I was in for a shock, it was very hot. I was amazed at the difference in temperature between the EGR tube that exits the header and the header tube itself.
