Warren Johnson Sets New Pro Stock Record

Warren Johnson became the first Pro Stock car to break the 200 mph barrier at the Pennzoil Nationals in Richmond, VA. Warren set both ends of the record with a 6.883 e.t. and 200.53 mph. Warren ran over 200 mph in pre-season testing but made it official at Richmond. Warren’s son Kurt put the first 6-Second prostock run on the record books back in may of 1994 with Warren becoming the third entry in the Holley 6-Second Pro Stock Club in March of 1995. HPC congratulates Warren on his record breaking performance, proving “The Professor of Pro Stock” is still the coolest.
